I apply a creative approach to my translation work, providing you with a flowing and idiomatic text in your target language. Post-editing of machine translation is also available, adding a human touch.

ABOUT ME

How to sum up a person in a paragraph (or two)?

Hi! My name is Kath and I am a freelance translator and proofreader, based in South Manchester. I am in the process of completing the MA in Translation and Interpreting Studies at the University of Manchester as a mature(ish) student, following a BA in French and German at UCL and a BTEC Level 5 diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy at the marvellous North London School of Sports Massage.

When I'm not working, I can often be found up a big hill with my husband and dog or in front of my sewing machine trying to get pattern pieces to match up.

Knowledge, understood as philosophy, was thus to be found in words, the tools of the soul.
